Abbey Healthcare has renewed their Supporter Membership of The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of the CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.
Abbey Healthcare says, “The CWC is a great charity which aspires to a UK where no care worker faces financial hardship alone and where their cause is championed both in and outside of the sector, and we are proud to support them. At Abbey Healthcare Homes, we deeply appreciate the dedication and hard work of care workers, especially during challenging times. Care workers are the backbone of our community, providing essential support and comfort to those in need. The Care Workers Charity offers crucial assistance to these heroes, helping them navigate hardships, financial challenges, and unforeseen events which we appreciate very much.”
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says “We are very grateful that Abbey Healthcare has decided to support the CWC by renewing as a Supporter Member. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”
There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support. The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
