The Care Workers’ Charity and Andor Cards

Andor Cards have chosen The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as their Charity of the Year in 2025 and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support. Now more than ever, they deserve recognition and value for their work. Care workers who made many sacrifices during the pandemic to support people who draw on care are now the ones struggling most with the cost-of-living crisis.

Ross Barrie, Managing Director of Andor Cards Ltd says “We are thrilled to announce our Chosen Charity of the Year: The Care Workers’ Charity. This organisation aligns with our core values and our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need. The Care Workers’ Charity provides essential care and support to professional care workers transforming lives through their dedication and impactful programs. Throughout the coming year, we will partner with The Care Workers’ Charity to raise funds, volunteer, and increase awareness for their invaluable work. Together, we aim to create a lasting positive impact on our community. Stay tuned for upcoming events and opportunities to get involved! Thank you for joining us on this journey of compassion and change.”

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We cannot thank Andor Cards enough for choosing us as their Charity of the Year. Every pound they collect makes a huge difference, supporting care workers with financial grants and mental health support and keeping our charity open for them throughout the year. Their contributions will also help the CWC to run national campaigns and conduct research to raise awareness of the issues facing care workers today and make the case for improved pay and conditions.”

There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.

The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
