Elevation are rejoining The Care Workers’ Charity (The CWC) as a Gold Sponsor and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.
Jacob Hurtley, ESG Director of Elevation said: “There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who attend to the most vulnerable members of our society. As specialist investors in healthcare, we understand the essential role they play in maintaining safety and infection control, along with their contribution to care quality.
We greatly admire the work and vision of The CWC whose crisis grants provide assistance to professionals encountering unexpected financial difficulties, and whose work to the elevate the profile of the sector at a governmental level is inspiring. The work that has been completed in the last 12 months to bring carers’ voices to the forefront on the future of adult social care, demonstrates the importance of continued support for all those in the healthcare sector.
We are excited to have the opportunity to back their important work and would urge people to donate to the fundraising trek in September – we are grateful for all donations, which will help support their vital work.”
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We are extremely grateful that Elevation has decided to support the CWC by renewing as a Gold Sponsor. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”
