The Care Workers’ Charity and Howden

Howden are joining The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as a Bronze Sponsor and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.

Richard Hearn, Divisional Director, Health & Care at Howden Broking Group commented, “We deeply value the essential support the Care Workers Charity provides to those working tirelessly in the care sector.  As a company arranging insurance coverage for thousands of care providers, we recognise the critical role the charity plays in offering help and reassurance to care workers. By contributing to their efforts, we aim to strengthen our commitment to the sector and support the incredible individuals who dedicate themselves to caring for others.”

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We are very grateful that Howden has decided to support the CWC by once again becoming a Bronze Sponsor. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”

There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.
