The Care Workers’ Charity and Puma Capital Group

Puma Capital Group are joining The Care Workers’ Charity (The CWC) as a Bronze Sponsor and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.

Tony Throp, Director & Head of Healthcare at Puma Property Finance, says “really enjoy working with a wide variety of care operators who share my passion for delivering high-quality care homes that our residents can truly call home. Ultimately, the value of a care home is based upon the staff in it and therefore, to be supporting the Care Workers’ Charity is our way of recognising those who work so hard to care for others.

At Puma, we cherish the vital role care workers play in our society and the challenges they can face. This partnership reflects our commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of care workers and ensuring they receive the recognition and support they deserve.”

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We are very grateful that Puma Capital Group have decided to support the CWC by becoming a Bronze Sponsor. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”

There are almost 1.6 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.

The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
