Sensio are joining The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as a Silver Sponsor and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.
Lisa Delaney, Country Manager UK at Sensio commented, “Sensio are delighted to become Silver Sponsors of the Care Workers Charity. We recognise the critical role care workers play in today’s ageing society and are happy to support a charity that champions the rights of care workers and aims to get their voice heard at the highest level. At Sensio we make solutions that better support care workers by making their work less stressful and giving back more time for care, so support of this charity closely aligns with our own company mission and values. The UK team are keen to further support CWC through fundraising and events next year, so this is just the first step in what we see as a long term partnership.”
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We are very grateful that Sensio has decided to support the CWC by becoming a Silver Sponsor. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”
There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.
The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
