Volunteering
Individual Volunteering Opportunities
Thank you for considering volunteering with the Care Workers’ Charity to help us in supporting care workers’ financial, emotional and professional well-being. We have several volunteering opportunities throughout the year. Currently we are looking for people who can provide logistical, organisational or general help at one of our events, including the annual Care Sector Ball.
We would also love to hear from volunteers who can offer any of the following skills/experience:
- Videography, filming, and video editing
- Data analysis and survey update
- Media and public speaking training
- Design skills
- Trust and foundation research and bid writing
- Social media engagement (sharing posts, commenting).
- Website development and content input.
- Public relations to expand our media reach.
- Creative writing for blog posts, articles, and interviews.
- Podcast setup and discussions on relevant subjects.
Nothing that matches your skills or interests currently, but you would still like to help out? Fundraising is a great way to help us, providing invaluable support to care workers when they need it most. We have lots of organised runs, walks and other events you can join in through the year. We can also help, and provide resources, if you would like to organise your own event.
Getting Involved
- Contact us at info@thecwc.org.uk to express your interest in volunteering.
- Specify your availability and any specialised skills you can offer.
- If we have a role to match your experiences and interests, we will arrange an informal conversation and go from there. Or you can sign up for our newsletter to keep updated on opportunities as they arise.
